- For DNA results to be accepted, the court system requires that a specific chain-of-custody process be followed. - A Paternity DNA Test compares the DNA of a child to the DNA of an Alleged Father, and preferably the child’s mother, to determine the probability of paternity. -A Maternity DNA Test compares the DNA of a child to the DNA of an Alleged Mother to determine the probability of maternity. Extra fee for additional children.
